About

Paul is a lawyer and building surveyor. He leads the built environment professional doctorate programme at the University of Salford, UK and is the editor of the International Journal of Law in the Built Environment. He holds the award for best CIB coordinator for his leadership of CIB Working Commission (W113) on Law & Dispute Resolution. His many publications include The Party Wall Casebook and a number of award-winning peer-reviewed journal articles on the future of expert evidence in rights to light litigation. He is also the author, with others, of the bestselling student textbook, Law and the Built Environment. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and an accredited commercial mediator.
