Garry Crawford's teaching and research focus primarily on audiences, fan cultures, video gamers and sport. He is the author of 'Consuming Sport' (Routledge 2004), 'Video Gamers' (Routledge 2011) and the co-author of the second edition of 'Introducing Cultural Studies' (Pearson 2008, with B. Longhurst, G. Smith, G. Bagnall, & M. Ogborn), 'the Sage Dictionary of Leisure Studies' (Sage 2009, with T. Blackshaw), and co-editor of 'Online Gaming in Context' (Routledge 2011, with V. Gosling & B. Light). Garry is Publications Director of the British Sociological Association (BSA), and review editor for the journal 'Cultural Sociology'.
