About
My current role as MediaCityUK Coordinator involves coordinating all of the MediaCityuK related activity for the College of Science & Technology at University of Salford. This included managing internal structures to respond to the needs of the project as a whole as we approached opening and also liaison and managing relationships with external organisations with an aim to developing partnerships in learning, research and commercial activity.
I am now also Academic Lead for the college's Digital Innovation Cluster which is driving partnership building and revenue generating activity, particularly from our building at MediaCityUK. Strategic partnerships developed during the MediaCityUK project include Avid, Adobe, BT, Carnegie Mellon University and Cisco.
Research interests include audio related accessibility, broadcast and media including cross disciplinary research across arts and technology.
